Ghost & Writer: Schluss. Aus. Ende. Vorbei.

This had to happen.
It’s not the end of the world,
just one fucking band who splits.
You all would have done the same in my shoes.

Thanx all of you for your work, I appreciate.

Aha.

„Hi all,

Just got the first hate post on this page. This is NOT ok. Let’s keep this fresh, shall we ?

While I (jean-marc) understand you want to know more of the why’s and the when’s and if we could include a picture it would even be nicer, lol, do understand this situation is not an easy time for me, nor is it for Frank.

Bands split every day, sometimes for stupid reasons (most of the time they are vain, or it’s because the drummer left the gig with the blonde girl the guitar player wanted so badly) and sometimes it is because the emotional burden that comes with the artistic release can be very, very powerful.

Please, do accept that we keep the reasons why G&W is no more our own failure and our own secret.

G&W’s music and heart is based on deep feelings and how we sometimes take life in the face, without warnings. It’s about sentiments and love, life, betrayal, hopes, redemption and untamed, profoundly dark, beautiful but sad romanticism. Things we all love in music and hope we can match in real life.

Unfortunately, we sometimes have to come down to earth and things down here aren’t as cinematic and dreamy.

Please, accept all to know nothing more about why and how, just keep this vision of G&W as untainted and pure as possible and find in the music and the lyrics all the beauty and emotions we put there as what we can communicate: the best part of us aiming at your heart, the best part of you.

We’re all humans and we all make mistakes.
And sometimes we can look back on things and, hopefully, fix them.

jean-marc“
